Description

The Badia a Coltibuono estate (which translates to “Abbey of the Good Harvest”, an apt nomenclature if there ever was one) was founded by Vallombrosan monks in the 11th century and immediately became a center for wine production. Since 1846, the Stucchi Prinetti family has been master of the estate, balancing history and innovation to create one of Chianti Classico’s best-loved wines. Cultus Boni, the Roman name for the estate, is used for their rnégociant line of wine.. The “RS” Chianti Classico is 100% Sangiovese, from vineyards throughout the Chianti Classico. It is aged for a short time in Austrian oak barrels. “RS” are the initials of Roberto Stucchi, fifth generation owner along side his sister, Emanuela, and brother Paolo.
